We are Certified IKO instructors in safety, theory, and practical training. We all gotta be safe out there, so we teach it.

Learn how to pilot the kite and identify the areas of the wind window.

At each stage, we emphasize safety, confidence, and a positive learning experience, ensuring you progress at your own pace while enjoying every step of the journey.
BEGINNER
Foundations & Safety
Learn the essential safety protocols, how to control the kite on land, and how to build your confidence in the water. You’ll also become familiar with the basic kiteboarding gear and how it all works together.
INTERMEDIATE
Power Up & Control
Harness the power of the kite, learn how to handle different wind conditions, and develop control. You’ll work on refining your balance, coordination, and kite handling, becoming more fluid and confident.
ADVANCED
Riding & Navigating
Practice steering, carving, and turning with precision to master control on the board. We will fine-tune your technique, improving your ability to ride upwind and kite control in various conditions.
EXPERT
Maneuvers & Personal Style
Start expressing yourself on the water with speed and style. Here, you’ll incorporate tricks, from basic jumps to advanced aerials and freestyle maneuvers, into your riding. Build confidence to ride solo.
ABOUT THE ACADEMY
The Kite & Wing Academy was founded by Aaron and Jo in 2018. We’ve been teaching kiteboarding around the globe for over 9 years.
During our travels, we came to love kiteboarding and the many communities of kiteboarders we met along the way. We started our own Kite Academy to share the knowledge and guidance we learned from our kiteboarding friends worldwide.
