Here’s where to stay in La Ventana.

Quick Note about La Ventana

Before we dive into our recommendations, it's important to clarify that the region commonly referred to as La Ventana actually encompasses two distinct towns. The bay itself is known as Bahia de La Ventana, while the northern part, just before the bay curves, is called El Sargento. When searching for accommodations, you'll find that El Sargento offers more options.

Waterfront

For a secret getaway, but still close to everything and right by the water, La Ventana Beach Front Lofts is an exceptionally well-outfitted, well-organized spot with great attention to detail.

Another option right by the beach is wonderfully colorful and well-thought-out container homes, and even small, it has a luxury feel with all the amenities inside and access to a hot tub/plunging pool and BBQ.

Luxury

One of our recommended luxury stays is the boutique Hotel Todo Bien, which has limited rooms, so booking early is key.

Casa Tara is another good choice for a luxury stay, they often hold Yoga retreats, this sometimes fills up the entire place, but when there are rooms, its walking distance to daily Yoga classes.

Aqua Ventana features several spacious casitas and is situated directly on the water. They also have a hot tub for cooler evenings, which is nice after a long session on the water.

Budget Friendly

The La Ventana Hostel is the only one of its kind in LV, offering both shared dorm rooms and individual rooms. Please note that when you visit Booking, prices are displayed in pesos.

Unique Accommodations

Nomada has individually styled casitas, ranging from Moroccan to Spanish style decor. It also features a restaurant on site with a variety of delicious food options.

If you fancy a glamping experience, ChiloChill is the place to go; every glamp has its own bathroom.

Privately Managed Accommodations

If you are looking for a secure accommodations manager, we recommend  Diana Salom at Rent La Ventana. Please note that when looking at this site, El Sargento, El Teso, and Hotsprings are all part of La Ventana.

Another person with fantastic local knowledge and many rental accommodations to choose from is Gaby Jimenez. You can contact her directly

Camping

Camping spots fill up quickly and are typically occupied by people who stay here for the entire windy season. That being said, there are a few campgrounds in La Ventana worth checking out, including Bungalows and Campground El Sargento and Campground del Ejido.

Whether you’re looking for convenience, comfort, or a place with the best beach access, La Ventana has plenty of great places to stay. With the right accommodation, you’re all set for a windy Baja trip.

Have fun, travel safe, and enjoy your stay in La Ventana!
