We winter in La Ventana, MX, to catch its peak wind season, October through March. The wind-sport culture down here on the Sea of Cortez is absolutely remarkable. We love to share it with our students.
When it isn’t windy, we have eFoil lessons available by appointment.
This is our 10th season in LV. Since we’ve traveled to and from La Ventana so many times, we’ve created a travel guide, and we’re here to answer any questions you may have about the town.

ABOUT THE ACADEMY
We’ve been teaching kiteboarding around the globe for over 12 years. The Kite & Wing Academy was founded by Aaron and Jo in 2018.
During our travels, we came to love kiteboarding and the many communities of kiteboarders we met along the way. We started our own academy to share the knowledge and guidance we learned from our kiteboarding friends worldwide.
We typically spend winters in La Ventana, B.C.S., Mexico, and spring and early summer in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.
